Café de Alma

Café de Alma, Mostar

Old Town (near Old Bridge)

A tiny, welcoming coffee house just 20 metres from Mostar’s Old Bridge, dedicated to keeping traditional Bosnian coffee culture alive. This little family business roasts, grinds and brews its beans on the spot — on a roaster that survived the war — and the owners take the time to sit with you and explain the whole džezva ritual. Alongside the coffee there are pastries and lovely house juices (pomegranate, elderflower, rose). Cash only, and best enjoyed slowly, early or off-peak.
