A pioneering New York speakeasy entered through a vintage wooden phone booth inside Crif Dogs, the East Village hot-dog joint — pick up the receiver, and a hidden door swings open into a snug, taxidermy-dotted cocktail room. PDT (Please Don’t Tell) helped define the modern speakeasy craze, and still turns out precise, inventive cocktails (you can order hot dogs to your seat). Tiny and hugely popular — reservations open daily and vanish fast.
