Every Sunday from May to November, the SoWa Open Market fills the South End with more than a hundred and seventy makers, vintage dealers, farmers and food trucks along pedestrianised Thayer Street. It is the best spot in the city to meet local artists and eat your way through lunch. Admission is free, so bring cash, arrive around opening at eleven, and save room for the food trucks.
