Base Porto

Base is an open-air bar pitched under the trees beside the Cordoaria garden, with beanbags, hammocks and a lawn that fills with locals the moment the sun appears. It is one of the most relaxed spots in the centre for an afternoon beer or an early-evening cocktail. There is no roof, so it opens seasonally and closes in bad weather. Arrive before six on a sunny day to claim a good patch of grass.
