Turin’s best-loved riverside park, laid out along the Po and home to the Renaissance-style Castello del Valentino, a UNESCO-listed Savoy residence, and the Borgo Medievale, a reconstructed medieval village. Wide lawns, tree-lined paths and rose gardens draw joggers, students and families, and riverboats pass along the water. It is an easy green escape a short walk from the centre, and particularly pleasant in spring and early summer.
