Al Dhafra is a very nice fish restaurant hidden in the Mina port. It is moderately priced (by the UAE standards) and offers great selection of local fish directly from the next-door fish market. Right next to this restaurant there is a very low-key Saudi restaurant that serves the best Kunafa in town

Why you should visit it
Select your order from a multitude of freshly caught options: shrimp, red snapper, hammour, parrot fish, lobster, crabs, and many more. Pay by the weight and have it cooked to your liking. Or go for a buffet where you can have Middle Eastern salads, mains and desserts. The restaurant has a nice vibe of an Emirati place with a touch of fine dining.
Special tip
Their Um Ali is to die for.
