Like A Local Guide

Put your tours in front of travelers already planning their trip to your city

Like A Local Guide reaches trip-planners searching for the best things to do in 100+ cities — 10.8 million Google impressions in the last 12 months. We're not a directory or an ad network: we're a working tour company that turned its guidebook into a platform, and we partner with one great local operator per city.

One partner per city — no exceptions

Own your city's tour slot

When travelers land on your city's guide — and its dozens of venue pages — you're the tour company they see. Not a marketplace of forty competitors. You. We hold this rule absolutely: one tour company per city. We don't split cities between a food tour and a bike tour. When you hold a city, every tour recommendation points to you — that exclusivity is the product.

See it live: the Like A Local Tours module on our New York City page — NYC is ours, and it's the demo of exactly what you get.

The featured tour module

Your brand story and up to 3 tours with prices & schedules — booking buttons linking directly to your website, no reseller in between.

You replace GetYourGuide

Everywhere your city's pages recommend tours, the clicks go to you.

Your own listing

A listing for your company in the city's Tours section, written in our editorial voice.

Pricing: flat annual fee, sized to your city's audience

$500/yr for major cities (Paris, Rome, Kraków, Lisbon, Berlin...) · $250/yr mid-size (Amsterdam, Madrid, Budapest...) · $100/yr emerging cities. Same package everywhere — that's under $1.40 a day at the top tier. New York City: taken (by us).

The fee only buys placement. Bookings are tracked through the FareHarbor Distribution Network (we're a FareHarbor operator ourselves) or your own affiliate program — you set the commission, typically 10–20%. We only really win when you get bookings, which is exactly how it should be.

We're upfront about the fine print: featured links carry rel="sponsored" per Google's guidelines, and editorial listings stay editorial — sponsorship never changes what we write about a city.

Hotels, attractions, restaurants & shops: Featured Listing

Already listed with us — or should be? A Featured Listing pins your venue to the top of its category on your city's page, adds a "Featured" badge, and links directly to your booking page. $100/yr, any city. No exclusivity, no contract gymnastics.
