This evening kayak tour paddles out onto Lady Bird Lake to witness one of Austin most famous natural spectacles: the nightly emergence of some 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats from beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge. As the sun sets, guides position paddlers on the water for the best view of the bats streaming out to feed. The roughly two-hour tour combines gentle paddling with the citys skyline and wildlife.
