Locals really love this location and it is usually pretty popular anytime it is warm outside. After a good rain, it can get a little dangerous but it is a great place to put your feet in the water and enjoy the scenery.

Why you should visit it
This water spot is very close to downtown so you wouldn't need to pay for an expensive Ride Austin (ride share) ride. It's also an easy hike to get to so you wouldn't need to pack any hiking gear. The trail is gorgeous and the water is perfect on a hot day.
Special tip
Right after a heavy rain, it can be pretty dangerous. On the flip side, if it hasn't rained in a while there may be very little water to enjoy.
