Why you should visit it
Kastel is a medieval fortress and one of Banja Luka's main attractions. It's situated on the left bank of the Vrbas river. In summer you will have the opportunity to attend a lot of concerts and festivals including Frashwave (electronic music), Demofest (demo bands competition), Dukat fest (international etnho-festival) and several rock festivals.
Special tip
If you would like to try delicious local food, you should visit Kazamat, the restaurant inside the fortress, with a view of the Vrbas river.
