Enric (CC BY-SA 4.0) via Wikimedia CommonsCarrer de la Riera Baixa is a short street in El Raval, Barcelona, running between Carrer de l'Hospital and Ronda de Sant Pau. Its name marks it as the lower continuation of Carrer de la Riera Alta, both following the course of a former stream bed. Since the late twentieth century it has developed into a concentrated strip of second-hand and vintage clothing shops with a smaller number of record shops selling vinyl. Long-standing businesses on the street include the vintage retailers Lullaby Vintage, Club 80's Vintage, Vilde Vintage and Polly Maggoo, and the record shops Wah Wah Records and Discos Edison's. Shops typically open through the afternoon as well as in the morning, and a street market of clothing stalls has historically been held on Saturdays alongside the permanent shopfronts. Prices are set individually by each retailer rather than being uniform across the street. It lies within walking distance of both Liceu and Sant Antoni metro stations, on Lines 3 and 2, near La Boqueria market.
