A working neighbourhood food market in El Born under a spectacular undulating, multicoloured tiled roof (a modern landmark by architect Enric Miralles). Far less crowded than La Boqueria, it’s where locals actually shop for cheese, olives, produce and fish — with a couple of good tapas bars inside for a relaxed bite. Authentic and architecturally striking.
