Black Sea Mall

Black Sea Mall is an indoor shopping centre on Tbel Abuseridze street in Batumi, developed by MP Development, a subsidiary of the Wissol Group, at a stated cost of more than 10 million lari. It opened on 29 September 2024. The mall is anchored by a Carrefour hypermarket carrying groceries, fresh meat and dairy, with roughly twenty further units including international and Georgian clothing chains, a shoe retailer, cosmetics and jewellery shops, a bookshop, a toy shop and an Apple reseller. A food court holds several quick-service outlets. Other facilities include a children's play area, free parking, cash machines and a pharmacy. It opens daily from 9am to 11pm. The centre sits a few kilometres from Batumi's old town in the wider retail district, reachable by local bus or taxi from the seafront. The developer states the project created more than 300 local jobs.
