Why locals love it
Great wall have 2000 years history. everyone know it is name. if you come to Beijing you must go there and Forbidden city. if you want to go official i suggest Mutianyu and Jinshanling. for wild great wall huanghuacheng is the best choice. if you want to see the real ancient wall without repairing i recommand shixiaguan and yanziyu Great wall.
Why you should visit it
Now the existed Great wall was built in Ming dynasty 700 years ago.Our government has restored parts of it. you can choose to go official one to see. for not repaired part we call it remnant Great wall, it is difficult to hike but like an adventure and more interesting.
