A Must See

Ulster Museum

Why locals love it

Open since 1929 the museum is a stalwart of the city. It rests next to the beautiful Botanic Gardens. It hosts a wide rang of exhibits such as ones depicting the history of our local flora and fauna, our manmade history, our prehistoric history (with dinosaur fossils) and even its own Egyptian Mummy! The museum is a proud addition to our city!

Why you should visit it

Travellers should visit to see an accurate depiction of our natural and manmade history. It is a beautiful old building that was renovated extensively between 2006-2009 and always has something new on show. If you're not into history culture lovers will adore this building's large art collection. A must see when visiting Belfast!

Special tip

Visit the "Troubles" exhibition about our own, chequered past. Visit the nearby Botanic and Stranmillis areas for food and drink.
