W5 is an interactive science and discovery centre inside the Odyssey complex on Queen’s Quay, across the Lagan from the city centre and close to the Titanic Quarter. It runs to more than 250 hands-on exhibits arranged across eight zones, covering the human body and medicine, energy, the senses, mechanics and Northern Irish landscapes and wildlife, plus a soft-play and activity area aimed at younger children. Live science demonstrations run through the day. Admission is charged, with separate adult, child, concession and family rates; toddlers and carers enter free. Pre-booking is required and last entry is two hours before closing. Paid parking is available in the Odyssey car park, and Titanic Quarter station is nearby.
