This tiny café behind the lower funicular station has there for many years, but still offers some of the best coffee in the city. It can be hard to find a free table, but in good weather people will gather on the cozy street outside.

If you love great coffee and don’t mind small places, this is the place for you. You can sit by the window to watch people passing by or by one of the three small tables. Great for early morning coffee reading the newspaper.

To find it, walk up the stairs to the right of the funicular station.
