Why you should visit it
In summer there is a festival running over a weekend in July. This is a great time to experience the life and energy of the peninsula. If you prefer the magic and stillness of being alone, make sure to visit the Kjerringøy museum before or after opening times. Then you are free to roam at will and meet the ghosts of the place in person.
