Why locals love it
Despite a somewhat distant location in the boonies east of downtown, Ozo gained a cult following of caffeine-addicts by featuring single-origin espresso, beans carefully selected by the shop owner who traveled the world to track them down, and Ozo roasts available in-store and packaged for brewing at home.
Why you should visit it
Ozo now has a shop within easy reach on Pearl Street. Before Boxcar entered the scene, they were the only coffee house among many in the area to roast their own beans. Other than Boxcar they still make the best brew in town, and with measureably less pretension.

If you're up for the journey, the East Boulder flagship is still operational, and pleasantly funky.
