This is a traditional Romanian restaurant serving authentic local cuisine. The most amazing part is that it’s not directed towards tourists but most of the customers are actually locals who enjoy the delicious foods. In translation Ceasu’ rau roughly means wrong time – I suspect it’s because once you enter, you will stay longer than anticipated.
This place is decorated amazingly, the terrace and inside are both beautiful. If possible, try to sit outside so you can observe the cooks making the dishes right on spot with a huge stove. They also have traditional Romanian music playing with occasional live performances.
This place is a definite must if you want to experience real Romanian cuisine without the touristy add-ons.
