As far as hidden smoky alternative bars go, Rockstadt is the best you’ll find in Brasov. The most famous rock bar in the area has an electric guitar on front – this will surely give you a hint of what’s coming. Rockstadt is probably the only place in Brasov where you can easily get drinks from the bar and not wait at the table.
Why you should visit it
The bar is blasting everything from rock to metal and other „tougher“ styles. The leather-jacketed locals drinking beers come here to enjoy weekly live concerts. Usually this little piece of heavenly hell closes down rather early around midnight, but as locals know, they might stay open until the last customers leave.
