Why locals love it
The building of Stará tržnica (=Old Market) was long time an unused building, but know a group of activists in Bratislava was able to take care of it and it quickly became a favorite spot for people who love good food, design and history. The building is also a place where various music or exhibition events take place.
Why you should visit it
You can come to the main market and buy great local food, drinks (don't forget to taste great slovak wine!) or even buy nice old books. There are also small shops in the building and a nice little cafe for families that turns into a pub in the evening. Check the website for info about the date when the market or any other event takes place.

The building was built in 1910 so definitely look at all the details!
