Nüetnigenough is a small Brussels brasserie on the corner of Rue du Lombard and Rue du Midi, a short walk from the Grand-Place but away from the tourist restaurants of the Rue des Bouchers. The name is a Brussels dialect expression for someone never satisfied. Cooking is traditional Belgian and often built around beer, with dishes such as carbonnade, stoemp, rabbit and offal preparations, and the beer list concentrates on independent and lambic brewers rather than the large groups. The room is narrow, tiled and hung with old enamel signs, and seats about forty. No reservations are taken, so arriving early or waiting is part of the experience. Kitchen service ends late evening.
