The Villacrosse passage is the best place in town to smoke water pipe with a variety of different flavors in one of the Egyptian themed cafes or to enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee. Some small boutiques stand side by side with some old-fashioned stores and jewelry shops and are a reminder of the initial commercial character of this place.

Why you should visit it
Macca-Villacrosse passage, connecting Calea Victoriei and a smaller street opening onto the banking headquarter in Lipscani area, was completed in 1891 and looks quite similar to other glass covered passages in Milan and Paris - which were quite fashionable at the turn of the 20th century.
Special tip
If you feel hungry after too many water-pipes and coffee, you can try the menu of the Chinese restaurant inside the passage.
