The museum is housed by one of Bucharest’s great palaces, “Romanit”. Built in 1812 after an earthquake devastated the city in 1802, it is among the first modern architecture buildings of the capital, in Neoclassical style. The collections are organized chronologically and by art trends in all the three palace wings.
Entrance is free on the first Wednesday of each month.
