The place has an authentic "ancient atmosphere". It has alternating days of the week for men and women and only the weekends are co-ed. The sulfurous waters sooth and there are five pools of different temperatures and one main central pool. There is a dry sauna and an intense steam room that feels so good in winter and always has a great scent.

Taking a dip in the most famous Turkish Bath in Budapest is a must. This thermal spa, built by the Turks in 1566, retains a strong Islamic style and a uniquely magnificent architecture. You have to wear a cloth in the various hot waters and pools, thus you will see naked people relaxed not ashamed of their bodies, but if you are offended stay home!
Visit the baths between 22:00-04:00 on Friday and Saturday for a unique experience. Be prepared to meet a mix of artsy, bohemian and gay people!
