A retro ropeway up Busan’s Geumjeongsan mountain, running since 1966 and once the longest cable car in Korea. The six-minute glide lifts you from Geumgang Park to near the ridge, opening up city-and-sea views and a network of hiking trails — most rewardingly the walk to the vast Geumjeongsanseong Fortress walls and the cliffside Seokbulsa Temple. Round-trip tickets are cheap; take the metro to Oncheonjang and stroll to the park.
