Tucked away in a basement of some square, this prohibition style bar has still managed to attract a following. It's a small, elegant space with friendly bartenders and a deli. You might need a local to show you the way though! Or ask one passing by
Why you should visit it
This is good if you want to avoid the teenage clubbing crowd and opt for a more mature setting. Quiet enough for a conversation but still has life. Quite a charismatic and unusual bar for Canberra but the theme isn't overdone
