Boulders Penguin Colony

A breeding colony of African penguins living among granite boulders and sheltered white-sand coves on the False Bay shore at Simon's Town.

You enter through the colony gate and follow raised boardwalks that run close to the nesting birds, with viewing points over the beach below.

Local tip: From the Boulders Beach car park, look for the small gate signed Boulders Penguin Colony and walk on to the main entrance.
