Amethyst began when Kiran Rao converted an old granary warehouse on Whites Road into a heritage-bungalow boutique, flower shop and cafe. The upstairs boutique carries an eclectic, personally curated mix of Indian designer clothing and accessories, and the courtyard cafe makes it easy to turn a browse into a full afternoon.
Local tip: Come hungry and treat it as a cafe stop as much as a shopping one.
