Dubai's wholesale fish, meat and produce trade moved into an air-conditioned hall on the Deira waterfront, and it runs around the clock.
Walk the fish floor early, then the spice and dry-goods aisles, the fruit and vegetable hall and the bazaar shops upstairs.
Local tip: The halls run 24 hours, but the fish market closes on Friday over the middle of the day for cleaning.
