The Kalottireitti (Kalotti Trail) is a hiking trail that runs through the fells of Finland, Sweden and Norway. The total length of the Kalotti Trail is 800 km, of which about 70 km is on the Finnish side, 380 km in Norway and 350 km on the Swedish side. The Kalotti Trail was inaugurated at the Three Kingdoms Border Point in 1993.
The easiest way to get to the Trail is from Kilpisjärvi. In Finland, the route passes through the Käsivarsi's Wilderness Area and the Malla's Nature Park. The endpoints of the Kalotti Trail are in the north of Norway: Kautokeino , in the south of Norway: Sulitjelm and in Sweden: Kvikkjokk.
The Kalotti Trai is also part of the European hiking route E1, which starts from Sicily and ends at the Nordkapp, the length of the trail is 4900 km.
