Why locals love it
The nature of the island is diverse and lush. The scheduled boat stops at the island's pier. With the exception of the northwest corner, the entire Iso Vasikkasaari is an outdoor area. In a private area is perhaps the most special building in the Espoo archipelago: a gazebo imitating the Temple of Poseidon.

Why you should visit it
The shores of the island are surrounded by fine coastal meadows, which are most diverse in the southern parts of the island. The island has an old fisherman's residence that serves as a kiosk. Camping is not allowed. There is a summer restaurant Gula Villa on the island.
