This is hands-down one of the best pizzerias in Florence, tucked on an unassuming street right around the corner from the lively piazza Sant'Ambrogio, an off-the-tourist-track nightlife destination. The restaurant is a favorite among families, 20-somethings and even the elderly. After 9pm you can always expect a mostly local crowd.
The pizza is to die for, plain and simple. Try a classic like "Diavolo" (spicy salami with mozzarella cheese and olives) or get adventurous with a melt-in-your-mouth burrata pizza. It's also in the perfect position for an evening out—you can grab pre-dinner drinks in Sant'Ambrogio square around the corner, dine here, then hit neighborhood bars.
With most pizzerias you don't necessarily need to call ahead... but with this one you should!
