Why locals love it
ok, here you will meet a lot of locals. Friedberger Markt has developed to the place to be on Friday evenings before heading to the clubs. It used to be a normal farmers market but now the people stay until late night and drink wine or beer and chat.
Why you should visit it
if you want to get in touch with the young and hip Frankfurt people this is the place for you. It only takes place in summer and ends about 10 or 11 pm., sometimes midnight. From there you can head to nearby bars or to clubs downtown (Nachtleben for example or Gibson)
Special tip
PLEASE behave. Since years there's been trouble with residents who'd like to sleep & who don't like their gardens and houses to be peed and pooped on
