Schloss Höchst consists of the old castle built from the 14th to the 16th century and the new castle built in the late 16th century. Today the castle is the center of the annual Höchst Castle Festival in summer, which is one of the biggest festivals in Frankfurt.

Why you should visit it
It's worth a visit no matter if good weather or bad. It has 2 museums: 1 for the history of the district Höchst and 1 for the Hoechst AG one of the three biggest chemical and pharmaceutical companies in Germany. After your visit you can stroll along the Main river.
