Indonesian food is an old habbit in the Netherlands, since the dutch really fancy the flavors of their former colony. Bogor is by far the best place to enjoy the indonesian cuisine. Located in a quite neighbourhood and managed by indonesians, it offers extremely good-cooked plates for a decent price, a real value-for-money.
Although not really central, the place is worth visiting if you want to try authentic indonesian recipes. Babi ketjap (pork in sweet soy sauce), nasi and bami goreng (fried rice and stir fried noodles) are the never disappointing all-time-classics. The portions are big but you can always ask for smaller tasting portions.
Be sure to book your table in advance because the place is always full with hungry dutchies!
