On the top of Lindener Berg is an old tower which used to be a watchtower, than a mill and now its the best place to drink beer on a sunny day. The stuff is nice and the food is good. Also you can enjoy a view over the former car factory Hanomag and into the countryside towards Deister (little mountains in the southwest of Hannover).

The tower was built in 1392 and because of the view it was used as watchtower througout the thirty years war and the seven years war. In 1651 it became a windmill, but it was caught in fire during the WWII, only the tower remained which houses nowadays the beergarden. It's cool to have a beer in a place with such a long history.
