Haltiala's Farm has many domestic animals such as cows, sheep, pigs and chickens. They are outdoors from summer to autumn, allowing them to be seen in the courtyard along the day. For the rest of the year, the animals are indoors. Haltiala's forests, fields and river landscapes have been integrated into Helsinki Central Park.
Today, this old Finnish countryside is about half an hour, 16.5 mile drive from central Helsinki. The fields are still part of the manor environment and form a culturally and historically valuable entity that is to be preserved for future generations. Therefore, the cultivation of fields, which started in the 15th century, will be continued.
Opening times are active as the animals are indoors.
