Why you should visit it
The hike is physical demanding and challenging. Hikers will easily get lost as the basin is very big. It is a good for travellers who are looking for someplace natural, unique, adverturous in Hong Kong. Besides, you may have a picturesque view of New Territories on Castle Peak.
Special tip
It is a restricted area for firing practice. Don' enter the basin within the period of firing.
