Why locals love it
Greenhead Park is a short walk from the town centre and features a whole host of activities for everyone. From the café to the playgrounds, tennis courts, pétanque, bowls, miniature railway, nature lake and paddling pool - there is something for everyone! Plus plenty of open grassy spaces to just sit and enjoy the trees, flowers, and sunshine.

Why you should visit it
The small lake is usually home to ducks, moorhens, coots and, in the summer, Canadian geese. The paddling pool is available in the summer months and the miniature railway operates on Saturdays (1pm-4pm, volunteer and weather dependent). Special tip
In the summer and school holidays there are usually extras to buy like ice creams, horse and carriage rides and small fairground rides to play with.
