The local people call it "buried robot" because its appearance resembles the head of a giant robot. The House of Soviets stays in exact city centre in a place where before Königsberg Castle was located. It started to be built in 1970, stopped by 1980. In 2005 the whole building was coloured sky blue from grey and all the windows were renovated.

The tallest building in the city (probably cause it's located on a hill). Great panoramic view with a Soviet atmosphere. Actually you can't simply enter – it's forbidden. But if you find a security he would ask you for some money (usually around 200rub) and he will let you go in.
Evenings are better for panoramas and it's a great spot for dating!
