The Levi fell, or Levitunturi, is the rounded Arctic hill that gives the resort its name and its identity, rising above the tree line to a broad, open summit. In winter its slopes are laced with ski runs, while in the snow-free months hiking and biking trails lead up to sweeping views over the surrounding wilderness of forests, bogs and distant fells. Whether reached on skis, on foot or by gondola, the summit is the natural focal point of the area and a fine viewpoint in every season.
