Kolarinsaari's Nature trails/ 1.5 - 3.5 km
Why locals love it
There are two nature trails right at the Kolarinsaari: The Lukkarinvainio nature trail on the east side of the Siltatie leading to Kolarinsaari takes the hiker 3.5 km to the river and forest landscapes. The path is partly equipped with boardwalks. Along the path there is a campfire on the river bank.
Why you should visit it
The Kolarinsaari cultural trail deviates from the Bridge Road to its west side immediately after the bridge. The 1.5 kilometers path circles an old wooden church area. Along the trail there is information boards about history, nature and culture of the area. In the winter starting at the cemetery's car park, there is a flat Dog Skiing Track.
Special tip
You can ski on the trail to Saarenputaa up to Siukovaara. Along the trail there is a shed and a fireplace maintained by the municipality.
