Mainau, the Flower Island in Lake Constance near Konstanz, is a spectacular garden island owned by an aristocratic family, famous for its dazzling seasonal displays of tulips, rhododendrons, dahlias and roses, along with a Baroque palace, an arboretum and a butterfly house.
