If you're a Tonkotsu fan like me, go here. It is a chain, but you can tell a good ramen place if it has a line. You order and pay at a machine in the front where you can specify what you want, as well as any extras. You get a ticket and fill out how you would like your ramen cooked, and you get it from a little window. You don't have to say a word!
Ichiran is known for tonkotsu, and that's what they offer so don't get your hopes up for some miso or shoyuu. The place is typically busy and you are expected to eat fast to make room for the next in line. If you can't read Japanese, you might want to take someone with you to translate the ticket for how you want your ramen.
Get the hanjuku shio tamago, or two...
