Its streets are lined with characterful bars and tabernas where a drink still comes with a free tapa, drawing a mix of locals and pilgrims. With a gentler pace and lovely views of the illuminated cathedral, it offers another wonderful area to wander from bar to bar, sampling local wines and specialities in the atmospheric heart of the old city.
