It’s a peaceful romantic garden from the XIX century that is somewhat hidden. It has a fantastic view over Liberdade Avenue, São Pedro de Alcântara Hill, Downtown and Tejo River. By the way, the Torel Garden is situated on top of one of the seven hills of Lisbon.

It has two entrances: the main one near Lavra Lift (so you can take a ride or just climb up the steep street) and the other one at Telhal Street (close to Liberdade Avenue). There is a playground for kids and a kiosk with esplanade, perfect for the end of the day to watch sunset over Lisbon. You can find soups, salads and some light meals.
There is a Mansion which was designed by José Luis Monteiro, the architect of beautiful Rossio Train Station.
