Most people have a sweet tooth and one of the places where they go to spoil it, is at Bucuria – Moldova's national chocolate factory shop that offers a variety of sweets from candies, chocolate, marmalade, jellies etc. The prices are local and you get to see the full variety of their products.
You can taste the products that have been sweetening the life in the country since 1946. If you don't know what to get as a souvenir or for your friends, buy some sweets! Nevertheless, if you wish to know what sweets moldovans use, this is the place to go to!
Local tip: Moldovans favourite chocolates are "Meteorit" and "Do-Re-Mi" 😉
