Right on Plaza del Salvador beside the baroque church, Moda re- is a bright secondhand clothing store that looks like any modern vintage boutique – until you read the labels. Why it matters: it is a social-insertion project of Caritas Diocesana de Sevilla (run through its Bioalverde enterprise) that gives collected clothing a second life and creates jobs for people at risk of social exclusion across the province. Prices are low, the stock turns over constantly, and it is one of the easiest ways to shop sustainably in the very center of Seville. Tip: combine a browse with a pre-lunch vermouth on the plaza steps outside, a beloved local ritual.
